On arrival at the Portland International Airport, we’ll transfer to check-in for the night at the Country Inn & Suites located near the airport.

Thursday, July 4 (Day 02)
This morning, we’ll visit one of Portland’s signature landmarks - the International Rose Test Garden, located in Washington Park. Enjoy a stroll through the oldest official continuously-operating public rose test garden in the United States, exemplifying Portland’s nickname as the “City of Roses”. The garden features thousands of colorful roses of various species. We’ll continue on to enjoy tax-free shopping at the Woodburn Premium Outlets, considered the largest outlet mall in the state of Oregon. The mall features many of your favorite name-brand shops such as Coach, Nike, Calvin Klein, and more. We’ll spend the night at the Quality Suites in Keizer, located in Marion County, Oregon. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Friday, July 5 (Day 03)
We’ll continue on our journey to the historic city of Newport in Lincoln County - noted as the ‘Dungeness Crab Capital of the World’. We’ll spend the night at the Embarcadero Resort & Marina, a rustic marina quietly tucked away at the end of the Historic Bayfront on the central Oregon Coast. Enjoy an exciting afternoon of crabbing on the private crabbing dock here at the marina. Before checking in, we’ll make a stop to purchase some additional food items for our family-style dinner this evening. On arrival, we’ll clear check-in procedures, then get ready for our exciting crabbing adventure. All equipment to participate in this activity will be provided for you. In the late afternoon, we’ll all participate together to prepare and enjoy our special dinner in the private dining hall. Subject to availability, we will cook the crab that we caught to enjoy with our meal this evening.

Saturday, July 6 (Day 04)
Beautiful evergreen forests, sparkling lakes and rivers, towering dunes, and the dazzling Pacific Ocean provides some of the most spectacular scenery along the Oregon Coast on our drive to the city of Florence. At Sandland Adventures, enjoy an exciting one-hour ride on a giant dune buggy, covering approximately 8 miles of sand dunes and 2 miles of ocean beach. We’ll climb and descend through the most impressive dunes for an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. We’ll continue on to spend two nights at the Spirit Mountain Casino & Lodge, nestled in the heart of Yamhill County in the city of Grand Ronde. Noted as Oregon’s #1 gaming destination, Spirit Mountain Casino has it all - hot slots, tempting table games, and live keno to test your luck and find your fortune. Dinner will be provided for you this evening at the hotel.

Sunday, July 7 (Day 05)
We’ll arrange for anyone interested to join an optional half-day shopping adventure at the Lincoln City Outlet Mall. Many name brand shops such as Gap, Eddie Bauer and Bath & Body Works are featured at the mall (formerly known as the Tanger Outlet Mall). We’ll return to the casino to enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Try your luck at some of the gaming tables, slot machines, live keno or bingo games. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Monday, July 8 (Day 06)
We’ll travel to the city of Tillamook located in the heart of Tillamook County on the spectacular Oregon Coast, home of the newly remodeled and renamed Tillamook Creamery. At the Visitor’s Center, some of their cheese products will be available for us to sample. Enjoy a snack or their oh-so-creamy ice cream at the creamery café. We’ll make a stop to shop at the Tillamook Country Smoker for some smoked sausage and various flavors of beef jerky to take home to enjoy. We’ll continue on to view the Astoria Column, a tower located in the city of Astoria overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River on Coxcomb Hill. This 125-foot concrete and steel structure was built in 1926 and features an interior spiral staircase ascending to an observation deck at the top. The tower was modeled after the Trajan Column in Rome and was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. We’ll continue on to spend the next three nights at the Country Inn & Suites in Portland. Before checking-in, we’ll enjoy a delicious dinner at a popular local restaurant.

Tuesday, July 9 (Day 07)
Our journey continues on to enjoy an exciting fishing adventure at the Rainbow Trout Farm in Sandy, a city located in Clackamas County. We’ll stop at a supermarket to purchase some additional food items to enjoy for our lunch together, in addition to the fish that we catch and prepare at the farm. The farm is surrounded by acres of trees and landscaped fishing ponds brimming with juicy, plump rainbow trout. All equipment necessary to participate on this fishing adventure will be provided for you. We’ll continue on to visit Multnomah Falls, an impressive waterfall noted as the granddaddy’ of the 77 falls located on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge. The falls drops down in two tiers and splits to an upper and lower section with a gradual drop in elevation between the two falls. A bridge spans across the lower section of the falls, providing a great photo opportunity. We’ll visit the Bonneville Lock & Dam, the first federal lock and dam on the Columbia and Snake Rivers. Built and operated by the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the dam is named for Army Captain Benjamin Bonneville, who led an exploration to the Oregon County. We’ll return to our hotel in Portland. Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Wednesday, July 10 (Day 08)
We’ll travel to Parkdale to enjoy a fruit-picking adventure at Montavons Berries - a family-operated fruit farm located on the fruit loop. Enjoy a fun-filled fruit-picking experience to pick some delicious, healthy, antioxidant-rich blueberries and sweet, juicy, bountiful cherries (subject to availability). We may be able to bring some home to share with your family and friends. In the afternoon, we’ll take a shopping excursion to Trader Joe’s for some dried fruits, nuts, and candy to bring home for your friends and family before returning to the hotel. Dinner will be on your own this evening.
