Monday, June 21  (Day 01)
HONOLULU TO PORTLAND, OREGON
Our tour commences this morning when we assemble at the Alaska Airlines check-in lobby at the airport for baggage check in procedures.  We’ll depart Honolulu on a direct flight to Portland, the largest city in the state of Oregon.  On arrival at the Portland International Airport, we’ll transfer to check-in for two nights at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown. 


Tuesday, June 22  (Day 02)
PORTLAND * WOODBURN * PORTLAND  (B)
This morning, we’ll visit one of Portland’s signature landmarks – the International Rose Test Garden, located in beautiful Washington Park, featuring thousands of colorful roses of various hybrids.  Enjoy a stroll through the oldest official continuously-operating public rose test garden in the United States, exemplifying Portland’s nickname as the “City of Roses”.  Nestled in the hills of Oregon’s iconic Washington Park, we’ll explore and stroll through the serene Portland Japanese Garden on a guided tour (subject to confirmation), proclaimed to be the most beautiful and authentic Japanese garden outside of Japan.  We’ll travel to Woodburn to enjoy tax-free shopping at the Woodburn Premium Outlet Mall, considered as the largest in the state of Oregon.  The mall features many of your favorite name-brand shops such as Nike, Under Armour, Gap, and more.


Wednesday, June 23  (Day 03)
PORTLAND * EMBARCADERO RESORT & MARINA, NEWPORT  (B)(D)
Our tour continues on to the historic city of Newport in Lincoln County – noted as the ‘Dungeness Crab Capital of the World’.  We’ll spend the night at the Embarcadero Resort Hotel & Marina, a rustic marina quietly tucked away at the end of the Historic Bayfront on the central Oregon Coast.  Prior to our arrival, we’ll make a stop at a supermarket to purchase some special food items to enjoy together at our family-style dinner arranged in the private dining hall this evening.  After clearing check-in procedures, get ready to enjoy a fun and exciting afternoon of crabbing on the private crabbing dock here at the marina.  All equipment to participate in this activity will be provided for you.  In the late afternoon, we’ll all participate to prepare our delicious steak dinner including the crab that we caught (subject to availability) to enjoy an evening of good food, good fun and good fellowship!


Thursday, June 24  (Day 04)
NEWPORT * FLORENCE * SPIRIT MOUNTAIN CASINO & LODGE, GRAND RONDE 
Beautiful evergreen forests, sparkling lakes and rivers, towering dunes, and the dazzling Pacific Ocean provides some of the most spectacular scenery as we drive along the Oregon Coast to the city of Florence.  At Sandland Adventures, enjoy an exciting one-hour ride on a giant sand dune buggy, covering approximately 8 miles of sand dunes and 2 miles of ocean beach.  We’ll climb and descend through the most impressive sand dunes for an unforgettable experience of a lifetime!  We’ll continue on to spend two nights at the Spirit Mountain Casino & Lodge, nestled in the heart of Yamhill County in the city of Grand Ronde.  Noted as Oregon’s #1 gaming destination, Spirit Mountain Casino has it all – hot slots, tempting table games, and live keno to have some fun and test your luck.  Dinner will be on your own this evening.


Friday, June 25  (Day 05)

Enjoy another day at your leisure to relax or test your luck in the casino at the slot machines, table games and more.
Dinner will be provided for you this evening at the hotel. 


Saturday, June 26  (Day 06)
SPIRIT MOUNTAIN CASINO & LODGE * TILLAMOOK COUNTY * PORTLAND 
Nestled in the charming coastal town of Tillamook, we’ll visit the Tillamook Creamery, a dairy lover’s destination.  Explore the viewing gallery to enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the cheese factory and discover the process of cheese production on a self-guided tour.  Be sure to stop by the sample counter to try some of their delicious cheese products.  At the ice cream counter, try some of their ‘oh-so-creamy’ ice cream available with a wide selection of flavors.  We’ll continue on to visit the Tillamook Country Smoker to shop for various flavors of delicious smoked sausage, meat sticks and premium beef jerky, made locally using all natural ingredients.  We’ll continue on to spend the next three nights at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Portland Downtown.  Dinner will be on your own this evening. 


Sunday, June 27  (Day 07)
PORTLAND  (B)(D)
We’ll travel on to view Multnomah Falls, an impressive waterfall noted as the ‘granddaddy’ of the 77 falls located on the Oregon side of the Columbia River Gorge.  The falls drops down in two tiers and splits to an upper and lower section with a gradual drop in elevation between the two falls.  A bridge spans across the lower section of the falls, providing an awesome photo opportunity.  We’ll continue on to visit Bonneville Lock & Dam, a major hydroelectric and navigation facility operated and managed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  At the Visitor Center, subject to confirmation, experience the operation of two hydroelectric powerhouses and watch migrating fish traveling upstream at the underwater viewing room next to the fish ladders.  The dam was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 and declared a National Historic Landmark in 1987.  Enjoy a visit of the Bonneville Hatchery, Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife’s largest hatchery facility with a diverse fish production program.  Watch salmon swim upstream in the underwater viewing room and visit Herman the Sturgeon, an 80-year-old, 10-foot long, white sturgeon housed in the Sturgeon Viewing Center since 1998.  Dinner will be provided for you this evening at a local restaurant before returning to our hotel in Portland.


Monday, June 28  (Day 08)
PORTLAND  (B)
This morning, we’ll enjoy a fun-filled cherry picking adventure at one of the family-operated fruit orchards in the Mosier area. (subject to weather conditions and availability).  Sample and pick some bountiful and delicious cherries for purchase to bring home to share with your family and friends.  Before returning to our hotel, we’ll make a stop at Trader Joe’s to shop for some dried fruits, nuts, cookies, candies and more.  Dinner will be on your own this evening.


Tuesday, June 29  (Day 09)
PORTLAND TO HONOLULU  (B)
This morning, we’ll transfer to the (PDX) Portland International Airport to check-in for our direct flight on Alaska Airlines  home to Honolulu.
