Wednesday, March 24  (Day 01)
HONOLULU TO KANSAI (OSAKA)
Our tour commences this morning when we assemble at the Japan Airlines Lobby #5 at the airport for baggage check-in procedures for our flight to Kansai International Airport.  A meal and a snack will be served on board the flight.

Thursday, March 25 (Day 02)
KANSAI/OSAKA  (D)
We’ll arrive Kansai Airport in the afternoon and after clearing entry and customs formalities, we’ll transfer to our hotel located in the airport terminal to check-in for the night.  A welcome dinner will be provided for you this evening.

Friday, March 26  (Day 03)
OSAKA * KOBE * OSAKA  D)
Our journey travels to Kobe, capital city of Hyogo prefecture and considered as one of Japan’s most attractive cities.  Enjoy a ‘walk-in–the-sky’ on the Kobe Nunobiki Ropeway – a scenic gondola to visit the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Garden, Japan’s largest herb garden located atop Mount Rokko.  The garden features various floral & herb themed gardens, shops and offers panoramic views of the city.  Enjoy lunch on your own as you stroll through Nankinmachi (Kobe Chinatown), a bustling district packed with shops, restaurants, and food stands selling popular Chinese dishes such as steamed buns, ramen, and tapioca drinks.  We’ll continue on to spend three exciting nights in Osaka city.  Dinner will be provided for you this evening at the hotel.

Saturday, March 27  (Day 04)
OSAKA  (B)
This morning, we’ll enjoy a full day tour in Osaka.  Subject to confirmation, enjoy a ‘hands-on-activity’ to make your own CupNoodles at the CupNoodles Museum Osaka.  You’ll decorate your own container, select your favorite soup base from four different flavors and top off with a choice of select toppings.  Lunch will be on your own at the Tempozan Marketplace, a large shopping and dining complex with a food court, souvenir shops, a pet garden, and boutiques.  In the afternoon located nearby the marketplace, we’ll visit the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, one of Japan’s most spectacular aquariums.  The aquarium introduces various impressive forms of marine life displayed in over a dozen tanks, each representing a specific region of the Pacific Rim.  Enjoy dinner on your own this evening.  Our hotel is conveniently in a prime location in central Osaka with many dining opportunities.

Sunday, March 28  (Day 05)
OSAKA  (B)
This morning, we’ll participate on an enjoyable hands-on-activity to make a select wax food sample for your souvenir.  Experience strolling through Dotonbori, an exciting entertainment, nightlife and food district in Osaka.  Famous for its giant neon signs and lights with the most notable landmarks, the Glico Running Man Billboard and the Giant Kani Doraku Crab, this area offers a lively atmosphere offering endless dining and shopping options.  Enjoy lunch on your own in Dotonbori with a wide selection of your favorite local specialties.  After lunch, we’ll venture into a peaceful atmosphere as we stroll along Hozenji-Yokocho Alley, one of the most beautiful stone-paved alleyways in Osaka, lined with traditional shops and restaurants and home to the fascinating statue of Fudo Myoo, one of the important deities of Japanese Buddhism.  Covered in a coat of moss, splash water on the statue to wish for good luck, believing that your wish will be granted and protect you from evil.  Dinner will be on your own this evening.

Monday, March 29  (Day 06)
OSAKA * IGA * ISE * NAGASHIMA ONSEN (B)(D)
Our journey continues on to Iga City, visiting the Iga-Ryu Ninja Museum, an interesting place to learn about the skills, knowledge, and activities of ninja.  The exhibition hall displays ninja tools, gadgets, costumes, and weapons and subject to confirmation, enjoy a special ninja performance featuring authentic ninja skills and weapons and we may see a demonstration of throwing shuriken (iron stars).  We’ll continue on to Ise City in Mie Prefecture to visit the Ise Jingu (Grand Shrine), Japan’s most impressive and sacred Shinto shrine, dedicated to the sun goddess Amaterasu Omikami.  Enjoy a stroll through Oharaimachi, a quaint village located next to the Inner Ise Shrine, lined with traditional style buildings, souvenir shops, and restaurants.  One of the specialties available here to try is akafuku (red happiness), a delicious Japanese sweet made of mochi rice and red bean paste.  Located in the center of Oharaimachi is Okage Yokocho, a small district recreating a townscape of past centuries featuring various shops and restaurants.  We’ll continue on to visit Nabana no Sato Flower Park located in Nagashima Resort, an impressive attraction to visit.  At dusk, brilliant lights and illuminations are turned on throughout the park, creating romantic images of mountains, oceans, flowers, shapes and character figures among the flower gardens.  Enjoy a walk through the Tunnel of Light and the Cloud of Light as every year, one of the gardens is transformed into a dazzling display of a fairyland.  We’ll continue on to check-in for the night at Nagashima Onsen for the night.  A late dinner will be provided for you this evening at the hotel.

Tuesday, March 30  (Day 07)
NAGASHIMA ONSEN *TOYOTA CITY * NAGOYA  (B)
Enjoy a visit of the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry & Technology, an interesting museum to view live demonstrations and a virtual guided tour of the facility (subject to confirmation).  Noritake is one of the world’s most prestigious leading ceramic producers.  We’ll visit the Noritake Museum displaying products and works of art created throughout the years.  Subject to confirmation, observe some of the world’s finest ceramic artists demonstrate the process from the production of molds to freehand painting of these delicate ceramicware in the Craft Center at Noritake no Mori.  We’ll continue on to spend three nights in Nagoya, capital city of Aichi prefecture.  Enjoy dinner on your own this evening to try some of the local specialties at various restaurants in the train station located nearby the hotel.

Wednesday, March 31 (Day 08)

This morning, we’ll enjoy a strawberry-picking activity in greenhouses at a local orchard.  In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Seki Hamono Museum, an interesting facility that introduces the manufacturing process of Japanese swords, kitchen knives, nail clippers and more.  Experience several blade and sword-related activities at this cutlery facility.  Subject to confirmation and availability, we may be able to observe a sword demonstration with one of the staff.  Enjoy a hands-on-activity to make your own miniature scissors to take home for your souvenir.  Dinner will be provided for you this evening at the hotel.

Thursday, April 1  (Day 09)
NAGOYA  (B)
Obara Japanese paper is a special craft of Toyota city where dyed plant fibers are used to create illustrations as the paper is being made.  Try your hand to make Japanese ‘washi paper’ with illustrations, Japanese characters or leaf and cutout patterns – a fun and educational experience for everyone at the Obara Paper Art Museum.  In the afternoon, we’ll continue on to visit the Kakukyo Hatcho Miso Village located in Okazaki city to observe a unique miso production method.  The miso is produced in giant wooden vats using only soybeans and salt as raw ingredients with natural river stones stacked on top of each other like a pyramid.  The miso is aged for two years in this traditional way.  We’ll visit the SCHMAGLEV & Railway Park, the railway museum of Central Japan Railways.  This interesting facility displays actual trains, historic steam locomotives and the world record-setting experimental shinkansen.  The museum also houses one of Japan’s largest train dioramas with miniature trains running through detailed recreations of Osaka, Nagoya & Tokyo.  We’ll return to the hotel to spend our last night.  This evening, enjoy dinner on your own at your leisure or do some last-minute shopping for souvenirs.

Friday, April 2  (Day 10)
NAGOYA * HONOLULU  (B)
The morning is at your leisure for your own activities until we transfer to the Chubu Centrair International Airport for our flight home to Honolulu.  You’ll arrive in the morning on the same day due to the crossing of the International Date Line.  A meal will be served for you on the flight home.

The tour price is based on double occupancy and a minimum group size of 20 passengers.  Fare adjustment may apply for groups of 20 or under.  The rate is based on tariffs and exchange rates effective 6/1/2026.  Tour fare is subject to change according to any airfare increase, additional fuel surcharges and fluctuation of the rate of exchange between U.S. and foreign currency.  In the event of revaluation, the land portion of the tour price may be adjusted prior to your final statement.  We reserve the right to revise the content of the itinerary if necesary due to unforeseen issues, weather and safety concerns.
